Dear Fellow Supporters and Friends:
May I first say "Thank You", for your most valued support. By being there you've shown that you truly care, and are interested in the welfare of the people of Thailand, as well as those people throughout the affected areas of Asia. I believe the meet-up was a success with supporters representing; Thailand, China, Singapore, Pakistan, Scotland, England and America. We were very fortunate to have graduate students of counselling psychology attend and give insightful presentations as well. Some of you have asked how you could be of further help. Well, one thing that can be done is to attend monthly meet-ups, and discuss various ways with other members, such as: beginning a group foundation, applying to foundations and NGOs for assistance, being available to those who need any type of life counselling, or because a great financial need is still required to help rebuild the lives of the people of Thailand, perhaps consider offering financial donations. My personal favourite charity is the Thai Red Cross, because I know all donations will indeed be applied to those areas that need it the most. So, to give directly, send to: The Thai Red Cross Society "For Tsunami Victims" A/C No.: 745-1-03030-7 Kasikorn Bank PCL. Ratburana Branch SWIFT CODE: KASITHBK You can either send this donation from you personally, or start a “Support Collection Scheme” at your workplace, school, etc., on behalf of the “Victims of the Tsunami Counselling Group, Bangkok”, or on behalf of a programme you so choose. However you choose to help, please know that it will always be greatly appreciated. Once again, thank you, and hope to see you next month! |
